Ok, So I spent today updating this blog, my Facebook profile and my Linked In page. I feel so connected now.
I guess I'm going to have to be updating and checking them more often. I bow to the inevitable.
A place to record my thoughts, my attempts at writing a novel and those shiny things that attract the attention of my hummingbird-brain. All these things literally have no mass.

So, it's cold and windy here, and my wife is snorkeling in New Zealand in the middle of summer. How exactly did this come about?

Checking In
Okay, it's been months since I've written a post. I think I'm going to stop thinking about people reading this journal and being concerned about it. The thought "what do I have to say that people would be interested in reading?" has kept me from posting. I've decided this is a fallacy of thought and I need to get over it. I need to use this blog to get into the habit of daily writing, as Heather Sellers would say, start a writing life.
I'm going to keep a running list of books read this year, instead of what I'm currently reading. It's hard to keep up. Maybe I'll switch back to current books. I'd like to also track how much I read in a year. I know it's not as much as my wife,, S_, or our friend L_ with her crazy reading superpower, but I think I do pretty well.
